I have authored 16 books in German, I have translated 12 into English and 5 into Dutch. Additionally, two other works were published solely in one of those languages. Currently, I am engaged in writing another book, this one focusing on the Maypole and its associated phenomena.
While I work on this project, I have come to realize that the excitement, enjoyment, and effort involved in researching and writing have significantly diminished. Although I continue to exert my utmost effort, I genuinely believe this will be my final major undertaking in research and writing.
There are countless books and ebooks in the fantasy genre awaiting my attention, and numerous DVDs have been lying in a cabinet for over a decade, waiting to be watched.
My personal website, “Boudicca’s Bard,” requires my focus, as I have many additions planned, including articles, stories, videos, and podcasts, much of which has been postponed for years.
I will still conduct research to produce a few articles, primarily for my website. In previous years, I also submitted articles to some periodicals, but the interval between my submission and their publication often extended for many months, or even longer. Consequently, I no longer submit my articles to those outlets; they all will be and become available for free reading and download on my site.
In summary, I am significantly reducing many of my activities.
