2000 years Varus Battle – Myth

In 2009 a major exhibion, organized in three themes, presented on three different locations, was held to remind that 2000 years ago the Varus Battle took place. Here are pictures of the theme ‘Empire’ presented, which dealt with the Varus battle, centered in it the Germanics and their leader. What is fact or fiction, and what is myth or reality? Who were those Germanics how lived they and what caused in the last centuries Arminius becoming one of the most important symbolic figures of the Germans?
