2000 years Varus Battle – Empire

In 2009 a major exhibition, organized in three themes, presented on three different locations, was held to remind that 2000 years ago the Varus Battle took place. Here are pictures of the theme ‘Empire’ presented, which dealt with the loser of the Varus battle and its background as well as with the Roman Empire at the height of its power and culture.
