2000 years Varus Battle – Conflict

In 2009 a major exhibion, organized in three themes, presented on three different locations, was held to remind that 2000 years ago the Varus Battle took place. Here are pictures of the theme ‘Empire’ presented, which was about the causes and consequences of armed conflicts in the Germanic world with the accent on the Varus battle.
