Codex Aesinas

The Codex Aesinas is a collective manuscript from the 15th century from the former private property of the Baldeschi Balleani family from the Italian Jesi, Ancona, which was discovered by accident in 1902. The special value of the manuscript lies in the containing of the “Agricola” and “Germania”, which belong to the “smaller writings” of the Roman historiographer Tacitus.
