Welcome to my online private space! I'm Gunivortus Goos, but you can call me Guus. Originally from the Netherlands, I now call Germany home. As a retiree, I have a passion for exploring historical topics, and I've even penned several books and articles on the subject, primarily in the realm of popular science. I have a sweet tooth for white chocolate, I prefer to avoid suits and ties, and while I enjoy socializing over food and drinks, I often find myself enjoying solitude. I could stand to shed a few pounds, and my reading preferences lean towards science fiction and fantasy. Musically, I appreciate a mix of symphonic, bombastic, folkloristic, lyrical metal, rock, country, folk, blues, and classical tunes. I believe that a day without coffee is a day wasted, and I don’t have a driver’s license.
