While recovering from the surgery in which I got an artificial hip joint, I finished the Nehalennia project in which an English edition of my already longer existing German and Dutch editions was made. Although much of the contents of this English book are translated from the other ones, it is not just a translated duplicate. Some minor errors were corrected, a handful more votive altar stones (text and illustrations) were added, and, because the book is also aimed at non-Europeans, some more explaining maps were added.
Because a color edition could not safely be distributed worldwide, (if you want to know why, ask me), an edition in gray tones was made to make it worldwide available.
But a color edition was also made, which contains almost 60 illustrations in color. This one is available only directly at the publisher, who, unfortunately, only ships orders to countries of the European Community. The German Amazon site, (thus no other Amazon sites!), offers it too, but the shipping costs to countries outside Europe are quite expensive.
Therefore, I am offering this: if someone organizes a collective purchase order of at least 25 copies and pays that to me, I will order those color copies myself and send them to (each of) the participants.
Last but not least … the price of the gray tones book is € 18,– (which is about US$ 18.80). Amazon.com asks US$ 32.50
The price of the color edition is € 24,– (which is about US$ 26.41).
Example of the mentioned collective purchase from the USA of the color edition for each person: book price plus shipping: 26.41 plus 13.20 plus 5 customs duty = US$ 44.61.
