“Germania”, by Johannes Scherr

From the German book “Germania – 2000 years of cultural history of the Germans” by Johannes Scherr from 1890….. a selection of illustrations from the first chapters. The text of the book is in many places outdated and sometimes even bizar from an actual point of view, but the pictures, although historically not correct, are really nice.
